So going to the Macaulay Reception Dinner last night was...interesting, I suppose. Well, no really, it was actually very boring, and the refreshments weren't even that good. So going back to school today was a lot easier than I expected it to be; I think taking that personal day yesterday really helped me sort of clear my mind and let the news sink in. So my mother let me stay home today because she said it would be too difficult for me to focus in school...so I'm lying in room trying to focus on something to distract myself. Wooo! Another snow day. I love not having to go to school, but a la vez, I'm extremely bored. All I've done today are eat pancakes, do the dishes, drink some Bournvita, and watch some 30 Rock on the Internet. (Speaking of which I just saw the episode with Jon Hamm! He looks like a gentleman even without the 1960's period clothing!)

OH MY GOD. MEN'S FREE SKATE LAST NIGHT. HOLY CRAP.

I will try not to freak out multiple times like I did last night, when I was literally shaking and crying watching the skating, and was kicked out of the TV room. Once again, I shall try. Can't make any promises.

So has anyone been watching the Olympics? I absolutely love the Winter Olympics (even more than the Summer Games) because of the skating - both figure and speed. Also, I like to watch the snowboard cross and snowboard halfpipe. I swear, the people who choose do participate in half of these events are either brave or clinically insane...I'll let you ( Read more... )
